As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the system requirements for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 have left me both impressed and slightly concerned. On one hand, it’s reassuring to see that even on minimum settings, the game is accessible to a wide range of systems. However, crank up the graphics to high or ultra, and I find myself eyeing the latest and greatest GPUs with longing.
The Call of Duty series consistently pushes technological boundaries with each new release, making it no surprise that the PC versions often require robust system specifications. Similarly, the system requirements for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 have been disclosed, and while the minimum specifications are relatively low, as you’d expect, the game becomes significantly demanding when played on higher settings.
To play Black Ops 6 on its lowest settings, you’ll need either an i5-6600 or Ryzen 5 1400 processor, coupled with a graphics card like the GeForce GTX 960, Radeon RX 470, or Intel Arc A580 (with 2 GB of video memory), and 8 GB of RAM. For a smoother gaming experience at around 60 frames per second in most scenarios with all settings maxed out, consider using an i7-6700K or Ryzen 5 1600X processor, paired with a GeForce GTX 1080TI, GeForce RTX 3060, or Radeon RX 6600XT (with 8 GB of video memory), and 12 GB of RAM instead.
The “High Performance / 4K Ultra” option will also be provided, delivering the game at a fast frame rate in 4K resolution. To run this setting efficiently, you’ll require an i7-8700K or Ryzen 7 2700X processor, coupled with either a GeForce RTX 3080, GeForce RTX 4070, or Radeon RX 6800XT (with 10 GB of VRAM), and a minimum of 16 GB of RAM.
Regardless of which spec you’re playing on, Black Ops 6 will also require an SSD, as well as 102 GB of free storage space, which is relatively reasonable by Call of Duty standards. You can view the full system requirements below.
