Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players have two weeks to get BILLIONS of eliminations, but the rewards will be worth it

What you need to know

  • The Hit List is the first event in Black Ops 6 as part of Season 1, and is live for two weeks.
  • As well as personal rewards, which include cosmetics and the new Power Drill Melee weapon, there are rewards to be unlocked based on the community’s performance.
  • These include the much anticipated Hand Cannon scorestreak, and the new Sirin 9mm secondary weapon.
  • Points are awarded for eliminations in multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. Of the billions of eliminations required, the first few have already been completed.

As someone who has been a dedicated Call of Duty player for over a decade now, I can confidently say that the arrival of Season 1 and its inaugural event, The Hit List, in Black Ops 6 is nothing short of exhilarating. With the promise of community-unlocked rewards and a new array of weapons to add to my arsenal, it’s like Christmas came early this year!

The inaugural event for Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, titled “The Hit List,” is currently ongoing and will continue for the subsequent 13 days following its release on November 21, which equates to a period of approximately two weeks.

What’s so significant about this? By participating in events, you earn benefits, and those points can lead to amazing rewards. Here, the removal of billions of members from the community will grant advantages for all participants, such as bonuses, additional abilities, and even a brand-new sidearm weapon.

As a researcher examining this intriguing game, I’ve noticed that points are distributed differently based on the gaming mode. In multiplayer scenarios, each elimination earns you one point. However, in Warzone, an elimination is worth five points, while Zombies players receive one point for every five eliminations. The grand prize, showcased above, is the Sirin 9mm secondary weapon, which can be yours after a combined total of 50 billion eliminations. Achieving 24 billion eliminations will secure you the Hand Cannon scorestreak, a powerful-looking weapon, while other rewards will enhance the gameplay experience by adding various perks for players to utilize.

50 billion seems vast, yet during the initial 24 hours, the community’s collective effort was nearing 3 billion, and it’s rapidly approaching that mark. This suggests a very promising progress.

The Sirin 9mm comes equipped with a few illuminated camouflage patterns for customization, which, truth be told, appeals to many of us.

The individual rewards are pretty easy to get, too. There’s a loading screen, calling card, emblem, and weapon charm, but the star prize is the Power Drill melee weapon. They’re not hard to get, either, with the Power Drill needing 1,000 points. Over the course of two weeks of play time, virtually everyone should be able to hit this.

More developments are on the horizon for the future of this game, but it’s exciting to have fresh content to engage with so early in its lifespan. This upcoming event, lasting until December 5, offers new items that can add an extra layer of challenge when opponents take advantage of them. Best part? It’s accessible to all players!
