Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies Trailer Released

As a seasoned Call of Duty fan with years of Zombies mode under my belt, I can’t help but feel a thrill of anticipation as I witness the unveiling of Black Ops 6: Requiem for a Lost Soul. The trailer, much like a well-timed punch to the adrenaline gland, has left me yearning for more.

The video game “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” will be available from October 26th of this year, and it’s bringing a fresh chapter to its popular Zombie series. Activision and Treyarch have unveiled a new trailer and details about the upcoming zombie content in the game. The new team for “Black Ops 6 Zombies: Requiem for a Lost Soul” and an all-new storyline that connects with events from “Black Ops Cold War” are being introduced, furthering the “Black Aether” narrative as hinted at in the trailer for “Black Ops 6 Zombies.”

According to a recent blog post on Call of Duty, here’s more about Black Ops 6 Zombies:

“Following a grueling two-year struggle against undead invasions worldwide during the timeframe of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the CIA’s Requiem team finally managed to shut down the last open portal to the Dark Aether, trapping its horrors in their terrifying realm once more. Yet, this victory came with a great cost; Agent Samantha Maxis gave her life to internally seal off this twisted dimension. Matters worsened when senior members of Requiem were mysteriously detained, following orders from the Project Director who was ultimately revealed to be Edward Richtofen.”

“Half a decade has passed since the events of Black Ops 6 Zombies, and it continues the narrative set in Dark Aether. The story follows key characters like Grigori Weaver, Mackenzie ‘Mac’ Carver, Elizabeth Grey, Oskar Strauss, Stoney Maddox (or Raptor One), who have been held captive at a distant outpost called Terminus. This enigmatic garrison lies in the heart of the Philippine Sea.”

Following more than five years behind bars, these characters have experienced considerable psychological and bodily transformations.

The Terminus Team featured in Requiem for a Lost Soul consists of the following members:

  • Grigori Weaver
  • Dr. Elizabeth Grey
  • Mackenzie “Mac” Carver
  • Maya Aguinaldo
  • Stoney “Raptor One” Maddox
  • Oskar Strauss
  • Dr. William Peck

Further insights can be found on the Call of Duty blog post, but here’s what stands out: More intel is imminent following this latest update, urging players to revisit the blog on August 8th at 8am PT.
