Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Adds The Crow Crossover in Season 5 Reloaded

As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the latest crossover between Call of Duty and The Crow is a stroke of genius! Ever since I played the original game back in ’94, I’ve been captivated by the dark allure of this brooding character. And now, to see him grace the virtual battlefields of Modern Warfare 3 is nothing short of exhilarating!

For several months now, publisher Activision has been more open to introducing cross-overs in the Call of Duty series. Characters like The Boys and Cheech and Chong have already made their way into the popular first-person shooter franchise with games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. As excitement builds for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, developers Activision and Sledgehammer Games are still adding fresh content and updates to MW3 and Warzone. On August 21st, they’re releasing Season 5 Reloaded, a mid-season update that brings a lot of new features to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, including a significant crossover skin.

In the newest development, The Crow is the most recent character to appear in a crossover for Call of Duty. This Operator Bundle includes the main character, sporting his iconic trench coat, along with an alternative “Mono-Crowmatic” version of the skin that transforms the character into black and white. Additional items like a new Loading Screen, Decal, Emblem, and Weapon Charm are also included, designed to complement the two available skin variations.

The upcoming movie, which is a blend of two original properties, will premiere on August 23rd, featuring Bill Skarsgard as the lead character Crow. This film marks the end result of a long development period that started in 2008. Regrettably, this collaboration with Call of Duty doesn’t incorporate an alternative version based on the 1994 character interpretation, which some might find insensitive given the tragic death of actor Brandon Lee during production. However, it’s possible that Activision could expand the crossover in future if this initial one turns out to be a hit.

As a gaming enthusiast excited for the upcoming collaboration, I’m looking forward to diving into the thrilling world of The Crow! Alongside the exclusive The Crow bundle, gamers like me will also have a chance to snag two additional Operator Skins. First off, the Ghost Punk Pro Pack offers a grungy punk rock take on our beloved Call of Duty character. Secondly, the Playmaker Pack brings an operator all dressed in gold to honor the prestigious Call of Duty League. Can’t wait to see these in action!

Here and now, you can enjoy “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” and “Warzone” on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC systems. The Season 5 Reloaded update arrives on August 21st simultaneously across all platforms. Next up, “Call of Duty: Black Ops” is slated for release on October 25th, also available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms. And here’s some exciting news: it will be accessible at launch through Xbox Game Pass without any extra cost!
