Call of Duty Reveals New WWE Operators Releasing With Season 5

Call of Duty Reveals New WWE Operators Releasing With Season 5

As a long-time Call of Duty gamer and avid wrestling fan, I couldn’t be more excited about this WWE crossover that Activision has planned for Modern Warfare III and Warzone! The first teaser was enough to get me hyped, but the full reveal this week has taken things to a whole new level.

Activision has unveiled the complete details of the upcoming WWE collaboration between Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone. Last week, a sneak peek of this WWE crossover for Season 5 of MW3 and Warzone was shared. Although information about this partnership was limited at that time, Activision hinted that they would introduce three WWE stars as Operators for players to use within the game. Now, just days before Season 5 is launched, we have received a comprehensive overview of what this means.

On the Call of Duty blog recently, Activision announced that WWE champions Cody Rhodes and Rey Mysterio, as well as women’s superstar Rhea Ripley, will join “Modern Warfare III” and “Warzone.” Starting next week on July 24th, Ripley can be unlocked through the Battle Pass for Season 5. In contrast, players can obtain Rhodes and Mysterio only by purchasing their specific Tracer Packs, available in the Call of Duty in-game store. Alongside their character skins, these packs include additional weapon customizations, charms, and other decorative items.

In the trailer below, you have an opportunity to preview all the WWE skins for your own viewing.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Activision is adding some new twists to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (MW3) with limited-time WWE-themed events. One of these exciting modes is called Slam Deathmatch, which is a unique spin on Team Deathmatch. In this mode, instead of killing your opponents through conventional means, you need to deliver a finishing move, or “slam,” to completely take them out. This event goes live simultaneously with the larger WWE SummerSlam event, running from July 31st to August 7th.

In the final update for Season 5 of Call of Duty, players will have the opportunity to obtain “Heavyweight Badges” connected to WWE. These badges are exclusively earned through weekly events and can be traded for various cosmetics in the Event Store. If you’d rather not spend money on Modern Warfare 3 or Warzone, you can still acquire some new gear by earning these badges instead.

As a dedicated gamer, I’m really excited about the upcoming WWE collaboration in Call of Duty during Season 5! This crossover event has got me feeling nostalgic and pumped up to dive back into the game if I’ve been away for a while. Can’t wait to see how they integrate wrestling elements into the multiplayer experience. Share your thoughts with me on social media at @MooreMan12! #CallofDuty #WWECollab #GamingCommunity
