Activision is using social media to hint at what’s coming in Call of Duty‘s Season 2, set to release on January 28, 2025. The teasers pose the question: “Will you be the predator or the prey?
The promotional pictures suggest that the main character for Season 2 might be an enigmatic figure known as the Operator, who wears a hood, black leather coat, and a tactical vest loaded with what seem to be explosives. This character is masked and his eyes glow vividly purple. He carries dual blades, which have black handles with purple accents, and a Tanto SMG that bears similar purple detailing. As of now, this Operator remains nameless.
As a researcher delving into the upcoming Season 2 of the game, it seems plausible that the enigmatic Operator wielding a blade and cloaked in a hooded attire could serve as the initial reward for unlocking. Moreover, it’s reasonable to anticipate the inclusion of a BlackCell variant for those opting to invest in the $30 seasonal upgrade.
Looking for clues leads to frustration
Before the release of Season 2, attentive fans scrutinizing the teaser pictures picked up on peculiar details that might hint at hidden secrets. Notably, they noticed that weapon triggers appeared to pass through an Operator’s hand as if they were insubstantial, and there seemed to be smoke drifting inexplicably away from operators without any discernible pattern or explanation.
Another perspective is that it seems the Operators are leaping over skyscrapers in Warzone’s Urzikstan landscape, reminiscent of wall-running.
