In Call of Duty: Warzone, the comeback of Verdansk has led to a special, short-term event called “Back to Verdansk,” which offers attractive incentives as part of its package.
In contrast to previous events following the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and its link-up with Warzone, obtaining the Trailblazer Operator skin for Caine isn’t a certain outcome.
Obtaining it solely depends on a random number generator, and indications suggest that its drop rate is quite low. Therefore, there’s no certainty you’ll be able to secure it before the event concludes next week.
The chance of getting it is determined by a random system, and clues hint at a relatively small probability. Consequently, there’s no assurance that you can acquire it prior to the event wrapping up next week.
Luckily, you can boost your chances, regardless if you play alone or with others. However, I still don’t possess it, but I’m embarking on a journey that I’ll describe extensively for solo players, aiming to maximize my success during this limited time.
So, here’s what you can do to try and give yourself the best chance at getting it.
Always play Battle Royale Casual mode in Warzone
To boost your likelihood of acquiring the Trailblazer skin, it’s crucial to engage in Battle Royale’s Casual match. Regardless of whether you prefer playing alone or as part of a team, if you aim for speed and high odds, this is the ideal mode to select.
In a standard game, you’ll find yourself among 149 genuine opponents. However, in the Battle Royale Casual mode, you’ll primarily face around 120 artificial players, also known as bots. These bots can retaliate, but they are significantly easier to defeat compared to human players if needed.
To obtain the skin, you have to unlock the mystery boxes scattered across the map. Given its scarcity, you’ll likely need to open quite a few boxes. Fewer human players increase your chances, as bots won’t be opening them.
The most swift method to collect all location-based safe bonuses is the Casual mode. While obtaining all of them isn’t necessary to acquire the Trailblazer skin, it definitely won’t harm your chances.
In a group, divide and conquer, because only one player needs to find it

Working together with familiar people allows you to open multiple safes much quicker compared to doing it alone.
You’ll be more efficient if you coordinate, split tasks, and focus on conquering separate objectives. Since there are fewer players to manage, you can tackle distinct Points of Interest (POIs) across the map one at a time, thereby maximizing the loot from each safe as there will be four players, each focusing on four different POIs.
In this game, it’s sufficient if just one member of your team locates the “Luminous Chest” for every participant to receive a new skin. The chest may not be made of real gold, but its appearance is identical to the others. Once you open the correct one, it will gleam like gold.
In a single game, some of you might go to the Stadium, others to the Hospital, still others to the Superstore, and a few may end up at the Prison. The more diverse locations you manage to visit, the higher your chances of winning the prize.
An easy run for solo players

It’s possible there could be other runs just as quick, or even quicker, elsewhere. If that’s the case, feel free to let us know and enlighten everyone about it in the comments. Personally, when I run alone, I prefer the safety of trails in the Hills.
You can quickly open up to four safes within approximately two minutes (excluding load time), then exit the game and re-enter to repeat the process. This is reminiscent of the “save and quit” method that you might be familiar with from playing looter shooters in the past.
In most instances during gameplay, I find that at least three safes appear in a given run, though it’s worth noting that not every safe appears in every instance, and occasionally you may encounter less than three.

Initially, your goal is to head towards the central Buy Station situated within the circle of structures in Hills. This secure location tends to spawn most frequently, and you’ll find it right behind the Buy Station, slightly to the left of the crashed helicopter.
Here’s your instruction: Open up this item, and should you have to proceed further, begin to run towards the southwest direction promptly. Your next destination is at the summit of the hill, where the Buy Station is located, which stands atop a hill with a stone monument nearby.
To improve your speed, pick up your close combat weapon, usually, a faster option is available – hop onto an approaching vehicle for a speedier ride. The lockbox will be situated to your left against the wall when you get near the Purchase Point.
Moving forward, continue straight from the Buy Station towards the parking area, which frequently hosts a helicopter. Once you descend the stairs, the safe (if it’s been spawned) should be waiting for you at the foot of them.
Continue moving forward in the same path. As you reach the crest of the hill, you’ll encounter a few trucks positioned on the other side of the road. To their left, if the safe appears (assuming it does), you’ll notice it as you descend the hill.

If upon your arrival, the initial secure box near the crashed helicopter hasn’t appeared, my suggestion would be to exit and try again. In my past experiences, up to two more might not have spawned as well.
To clarify, while working solo isn’t as productive as being part of a team, I can manage to crack approximately 70-80 safes every hour by repeatedly performing this task. When it boils down to sheer numbers, the more you have, the better, and this particular process is quite straightforward.
Make sure to watch the area to your left on the screen too. If another user claims the skin, you will receive a notification. In such a situation, simply exit and try again.
In essence, I’ve made it clear that success isn’t guaranteed in this random number generator (RNG) game, and you might not reap the benefits. However, personally, I sense a higher efficiency in cracking safes during this particular playthrough compared to any other location on the map.
