Camille Razat Finally Breaks Silence on Leaving Emily in Paris!

Just a few days following the announcement that Emily in Paris‘ French actress, who portrays Emily’s friend-turned-rival named Camille, would not be returning alongside Lily Collins, Lucas Bravo, Ashley Park, and other cast members for the fifth season, Razat explained her decision to leave.

In a post on Instagram dated April 23rd, she expressed that after an extraordinary adventure, she chose to part ways from the show Emily in Paris. She found it to be a marvelous journey, rich in development, artistic expression, and indelible moments.

The 31-year-old subsequently voiced appreciation towards Netflix, Paramount, and the creator of Emily in Paris, Darren Star.

Razat highlighted his gratitude for their trust and allowing him to introduce Camille into the show, and expressed that they had kept the possibility open for her return since she remains an integral part of the Emily in Paris universe.

Although it was earlier established that Camille’s departure from Season 4 of Star was arranged for a possible comeback, Razat is instead concentrating on his production company, Tazar.

She mentioned that they primarily create music videos and short films at the moment. However, they are also working on their debut full-length movie, which she’s deeply invested in and eager to see develop further.

In her final performance, Razat expressed her affection and respect by penning a message to her co-actors and followers, ultimately saying, “I depart from this show with only love and admiration.

In my professional opinion, even though their on-screen personalities may have had a bit of friction, I was swift to pen a heartening message to Razat, expressing my admiration and support, right there in the comment section.

She penned, ‘I love you, my sister.’ What a rollercoaster it’s been – truly enjoyable every step of the way. You shine like a star. I am so incredibly proud of you.

Simultaneously, the actors playing Mindy Chen (Park) and Nicolas de Leon (Paul Forman in real life), who is Park’s off-screen partner, extended their best wishes as well.

Park expressed constant admiration for you, while Forman mirrored this praise in French, stating “You breathed such depth and grace into Camille! Can’t wait to see what you’ll produce next with @tazar_production, and heartfelt congratulations on the fresh adventures to come!
