Unfortunately, the application and ballot for tickets has now closed as of Tuesday 6th August 2024.
As a disappointed moviegoer who missed out on securing tickets during the initial drawing, take heart! You’ve been added to a standby list and will be notified if additional seats open up. Keep your fingers crossed!
If you manage to secure the tickets, you’ll receive a text notification about it and the tickets will be emailed to you. Remember to carry a valid photo ID with you when you go to the event.
The BBC hasn’t shared any details about the yearly Christmas special just yet, but don’t worry if you missed it this time around; there might be an opportunity for you to secure tickets for the exclusive one-time event happening later in the current year.
Where is Strictly Come Dancing filmed?
Right now, the show Strictly Come Dancing is being recorded at Elstree Studios, a facility situated within the town of Borehamwood, London.
Before shifting to Elstree in 2013, the talent show had been filmed at BBC Television Studio since its debut. In 2011 and 2012, Wembley Arena briefly took over as the filming location, but since then, the show has been permanently based at Elstree Studios.
