A notable manga wrapped up its run after a brief year on Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and fans can expect Viz Media’s English translation to hit bookstores next year. The past year has seen significant changes within the pages of Shonen Jump, with several long-standing series like “My Hero Academia”, “Jujutsu Kaisen”, and “Undead Unluck” reaching their conclusions. With these popular series ending so closely together, the magazine is taking bold steps to offset the absence of its established favorites.
The final chapter of “Super Psychic Policeman Chojo,” which debuted in Shonen Jump magazine sixteen months ago, was published this weekend, marking the end of the series. However, even though it’s over, Viz Media has acquired the rights to release an English version of the now-canceled series. The first physical volumes are expected to be available next Spring, as announced below.
At the West Chinjuku Police Station, Ippongi discovers that her new colleague, Chojo, employs his psychic abilities for everything other than police work! The two of them transform the police force into a comedic spectacle. The first volume of “Super Psychic Policeman Chojo,” penned by Shun Numa, is set to be released in Spring 2026.

How Does Super Psychic Policeman Chojo End?
Numa’s “Super Psychic Policeman Chojo” concludes with the publication of Chapter 65 in this weekend’s edition of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Similar to previous comedic series, the final chapter playfully explores its ending by employing Chojo’s powers to peek into possible future scenarios. The specific outcome remains unclear, as each hint at a future is drastically distinct from one another – ranging from a robot uprising, a divorce between its main characters, a wedding proposal, and numerous other intriguing possibilities for its finale.
As Chojo grapples with the conclusion of his beloved manga, he finds himself pondering the essence of endings in general. However, no matter how hard he strives to alter the future, all one can do is anticipate the reality that unfolds. It’s a hopeful ending for the entertaining series, which, considering some prominent franchises were terminated prematurely, managed to complete an impressive number of chapters during its extended run.
What’s Going On With Shonen Jump?
Shonen Jump is set to launch an even more significant Summer transformation for its action-packed magazine. They’ve revealed intentions to add four entirely fresh titles to the magazine in the upcoming weeks, which means that existing serializations may come to an end to accommodate these newcomers. Series close to cancellation are expected to conclude in the coming weeks, so if any series appear to be heading towards a significant finale, it’s probably because their end is fast approaching.
This scenario might apply to certain shows from the early 2020s, such as “Blue Box,” which initially appeared to have a long run but could potentially end given this new perspective. However, it’s more probable that lesser-known newer series will be canceled first since the competition for viewers’ interest is expected to intensify during summer. Regardless, Shueisha is aiming to find its next major successes to bolster the magazine moving forward, and underperforming series likely won’t meet those standards.
