Capcom to Improve Street Fighter 6 Battle Passes in Year 3

Capcom has taken into account the comments about the limited duration Battle Passes, known as Fighting Passes, that occasionally appear in Street Fighter 6. They aim to make adjustments based on this feedback.

Initially, the renowned publishing house announced that additional costumes will be introduced for its diverse ensemble of characters, highlighting that these require a significant amount of effort. Instead of launching them simultaneously, they plan to roll them out progressively during summer, likely beginning with the most favored characters first.

In the future, they plan to revise and enhance their Fighting Passes, particularly focusing on Fighting Ground usage. They’ve been evaluating what’s inside them and how often they’re released, and changes will be made starting in Year 3 with the aim of offering more items within each Fighting Pass.

This hints that additional outfits for the Fighting Pass could potentially be added in the future. This would align logically if these add-ons can be bought individually at a later time. Alternatively, it might be appealing to have the Fighting Passes remain available permanently, similar to Marvel Rivals.

The proposed adjustments are premature at this stage, but in the interim, they’ve unveiled a “Fighting Pass” centered around the latest character, Mai. This pass offers a range of avatar items and includes an old-school game reminiscent of Strider.
