As a bystander to this rollercoaster ride that is Cardi B and Offset‘s relationship, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions. It’s like watching a reality TV show where you just can’t look away, even when it’s making your heart race with anticipation and anxiety.
Cardi B and Offset are making waves at their latest reunion.
They got together once more to commemorate their son Wave’s third birthday at the American Dream water park in East Rutherford, New Jersey, which they referred to as a “spontaneous celebration” on Instagram, on September 1st.
At a recent gathering, the rapper known as “WAP” flaunted her expanding belly in a crop top and loose-fitting jeans. She accessorized her look with pink hair and a fluffy white hat adorned with ears. Alongside Offset, they posed proudly with their children, Wave and Kulture, who is 6 years old. Additionally, in a large family portrait at the SpongeBob-themed affair, Offset’s sons Jordan Cephus (14), Kody Cephus (9), and daughter Kalea Cephus (9) from his past relationships were also present, posing alongside the former couple.
Although they have separated and Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset on August 1, the ex-pair seemed amicable, both capturing moments of each other on their Instagram Stories as they celebrated Wave’s achievement together.
In one scene, Kiari Kendrell Cephus, more commonly known as Offset, was seen dancing with a child wearing a sparkling chain necklace adorned with a large, bedazzled wave design. The entire family joined in singing to the child, Wave, as he blew out the candles on his multi-tiered cake themed around transportation.
Sadly, it seems that the extravagant catering wasn’t kept safe for use, as Cardi B mentioned on her Instagram Story on September 1st.
She expressed this sentiment, “So it turns out I really do need my mom, don’t I?” She found herself in a predicament when she was responsible for preserving the party leftovers and had neglected to do so while her mom was on vacation and unavailable. “I guess I’m not as grown-up as I thought I was.
