It appears that Carmella won’t be performing the moonwalk in WWE for now, as her contract with the company has ended according to recent reports from Fightful Select. This means she is no longer a part of WWE’s roster, though neither Carmella nor her husband Corey Graves have made any official statement about it yet. We’ll keep you posted if there are any updates on this situation.
If things continue as they are, it seems that Carmella’s time with WWE is winding down quietly. Over the past 12 years, she made a significant mark in the company, being among its most beloved superstars. Throughout her journey, she also managed to win the Money in the Bank and become the WWE Women’s Champion.
Regardless of whether she was directly featured in the title scene, she was often embroiled in significant feuds or became a crucial component in humorous team-ups, such as when Carmella and R-Truth embarked on a dancing spree and later, they constructed an entire segment of Monday Night Raw revolving around maintaining the 24/7 Championship.
For nearly two years now, fans haven’t witnessed Carmella performing in the wrestling ring. Originally, this was due to an injury. However, it was announced that she would return to action in 2023 to reinvigorate things, but not long after her comeback, she took a break for maternity leave, causing her absence from the ring temporarily.
It seems she was said to be preparing for a comeback to the work site, but unfortunately, her progress was halted due to the onset of drop foot syndrome.
We wish Carmella all the best and hope to see her back in the ring down the line.
