Don’t expect to find Carrie Underwood crying pretty over online hate.

The judge on American Idol adheres to the saying “post and move on,” openly displaying her life on social media platforms without giving much attention to any unfavorable remarks directed at her.

In an exclusive conversation with TopMob News, Carrie admitted, “I borrowed that idea from Joe Rogan.” She emphasized, “It’s crucial to remember when using social media that it doesn’t reflect the true nature of reality.” (To catch her full interview, be sure to tune in tonight, April 29, at 11 p.m.)

In the course of my personal journey, I eventually came to understand that it’s important not to let others’ opinions define my self-worth. I had to grow confident enough to say, “Is it really worth worrying if someone dislikes my hairstyle today, or the way I sang that song? No, it isn’t.

Besides, the “Before He Cheats” singer noted, “I got a lot going on in my life.”

Carrie mentioned, at age 42, she’s striving to nurture her two boys, Isaiah (10) and Jacob (6), into thoughtful individuals. Alongside her partner Mike Fisher, these are their shared sons. Carrie expressed that life is about doing one’s best, so if she feels like sharing something online, she will do so without worrying too much about it.

And that’s the lesson she wants to impart on the current hopefuls on American Idol‘s 23rd season. 

Over the years, Carrie (the winner of a singing competition two decades ago) has had this discussion with many people, and she recently disclosed this, expressing that she’s talked to numerous upcoming artists who find themselves preoccupied with negative reactions online.

Her advice? Take a step back and realize “everybody’s not saying that.”

Looking back at her own run on American Idol, Carrie felt “so naive” to the spotlight.

Reflecting back, she said each episode during my 22-year-old stint felt like a life-or-death situation: ‘This is it, seize the moment.’ I was thankful just to be part of the show then, and I’m still appreciative today. I can’t help but feel a bit anxious for the new contestants.

Carrie added, “I do want everybody to win, but alas.”

Over the years, the mother of River and Remy has made significant strides since appearing on the first season of ‘American Idol’ in 2002. This New York resident has now amassed three Grammy Awards, achieved three number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100, served as a judge on NBC’s ‘The Voice’, and currently hosts her own successful daytime talk show, ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’.

In September 2008, the second runner-up from the second season unveiled two significant disclosures. He announced the birth of his son named Parker, who was born to him and music producer Jaymes Foster. This event inspired him to publicly come out as gay. During an interview on Good Morning America, he stated, “I can’t raise a child and teach him to lie or hide things. At the same time, I also don’t ever want to raise him in an environment where it’s not acceptable for him to be exactly who he is, no matter what.”

Since then, this well-known redhead has transitioned from music to politics, even attempting a run for Congress in 2016. After his election loss, the singer produced a documentary about his experiences. However, he hasn’t abandoned music entirely; he toured the country with season two winner Ruben Studdard in 2023 and 2024.

Following his victory in season two of American Idol, Ruben earned a Grammy nomination and put out several hit albums. Later, in 2013, the singer made an appearance on The Biggest Loser as a contestant, garnering favor among fans. Despite being eliminated twice, he learned valuable lessons from the show. Interestingly, while he remained close to Clay, Ruben eventually found his lifelong companion in wife Kristin, who gave birth to their second child in 2024.

In my perspective as a lifestyle expert, let me share some personal insights about the season three champion: She’s deeply thankful for every milestone in her incredible journey. As she put it to TopMob News in December 2023, “Life throws challenges at us, we stumble, but we always rise again.” Despite facing tough times, she confessed, “It feels great to reclaim my place after losing everything twice and battling my way back.”

Her recent triumphs include the joyous arrival of daughter Keziah with husband Kendall Taylor in 2021, as well as earning a Golden Globe nomination for her remarkable role in the remake of ‘The Color Purple.’ The proud North Carolina native, who is also mom to adult daughter Zion, expressed, “I want to cherish this moment and remember all the effort I put into reaching this point.

Although she didn’t win season three, let me tell you, the musician more than made up for it: First came an Oscar in 2006 for her role in “Dreamgirls,” followed by a Grammy for her work on the musical adaptation of “The Color Purple” in 2017. She also served as a judge on “The Voice.” Now, this accomplished mother to son David has embarked on her latest venture: hosting her very own talk show.

Since Carrie first appeared on the American Idol stage, she has undeniably made an indelible mark in pop culture. Indeed, she not only emerged victorious in season four but has since reigned supreme in country music.

Following her success, she teamed up with fellow artist Brad Paisley to co-host the Country Music Association Awards for over a decade. Meanwhile, Carrie manages both her singing career and her hosting responsibilities while also being a mom to her two sons, who are shared with retired NHL center Mike Fisher.

As an ardent admirer, let me share some updates about my beloved idol from American Idol’s fourth season. He may now be a married man with four lovely children – three boys and a girl. Despite enduring severe health challenges back in 2006, this incredible Southern rocker has continued to captivate us with numerous hit albums since his time on the show.

In his large, booming voice and flamboyant hairstyle, Constantine, who captivated audiences with his powerful performance of “Bohemian Rhapsody” during season four, was an ideal choice for the Broadway production of “Rock of Ages“, earning him a Tony nomination. The father to Malena (born in 2010) later took on leading roles in the 2023 film “Rock & Roll Man“.

Following his win in season five, the silver fox’s self-titled album became platinum certified and he took a role in a Broadway production of “Grease”. In 2016, he transitioned from music to television as the host of a show titled “State-Plate”, which emphasized the concept of farm-to-table dining. Despite this, his initial passion remains strong, and he continues to tour with his music.

Prior to the Bieber craze, there was McPhee mania that opened doors for Katharine in both singing and acting, with her most notable roles being in the show Smash, which has a Broadway feel, and the drama Scorpion. Since 2019, she has been married to David Foster and is now the mother of a musically-talented son named Rennie. In an interview with TopMob News in 2023, Katharine expressed her hope that Rennie would follow in his father’s footsteps and become proficient in various musical instruments. “I wouldn’t mind if he pursued a career similar to his dad’s,” she said. “We’re not forcing him, but we encourage him to explore his interests. Ideally, I hope he develops a strong understanding of multiple instruments, just like his father. I believe he’s showing great promise in that regard.

Following my stint on American Idol as a season five finalist, who found success with the track “Wait for You,” I journeyed to Angola, working alongside former Idol judge Kara DioGuardi to raise awareness for Malaria No More. In 2010, I made headlines when I survived Chile’s earthquake and shared my experiences on Twitter. Musically, I continue to create, and I am blessed to share a daughter named Camilla with Karen Cruz.

During the fifth season of American Idol, the country music artist placed sixth, but she later appeared in Hallmark’s movie Christmas in Graceland and received three Daytime Emmy nominations for her show Pickler & Ben. Tragically, her husband Kyle Jacobs passed away by suicide in February 2023. Since then, she has been contemplating their years together. As she shared with People in 2023, one of the most valuable lessons her husband imparted was during a crisis, if you’re unsure of what to do, “do nothing, just be still.” She has chosen to follow his advice in the wake of this difficult time.

2007 saw the season six champion, who became the youngest winner at that time, igniting quite a buzz. Her “Battlefield” tour took her to 35 cities across the United States, and she further impressed with her Broadway debut in 2010, starring in the musical “In the Heights.” The star’s achievements and good fortune continued, culminating in the birth of her first child with husband Dana Isaiah in May 2018. In the years since, she has returned to “Idol” emotionally and competed on season 31 of “Dancing With the Stars.

The season seven champion’s popular song “Time of My Life” symbolizes his singing triumph, yet the title could equally represent his ventures beyond the stage. In 2010, he traveled to Ethiopia as part of the United Nations’ mission to uplift women in that nation. Additionally, he participated in the Race for Hope in Washington D.C., aiming to collect funds for brain cancer research, a cause close to his heart following his brother Adam‘s tragic demise in 2009.

Married to Racheal Stump since 2015, the ongoing performer unveiled his latest single “TABOS” in 2022.

Following his second-place finish alongside David during season seven, the performer devoted two years (2012-2014) to serving the Church of Latter Day Saints in Chile. Upon his return in 2014, he has persisted with his career in music.

In June 2021, he publicly declared his membership within the LGBTQ+ community. Expressing his feelings on Instagram in October, he stated, “It’s been a wonderful journey learning to embrace myself,” hoping that by living openly, he could inspire many others to do the same.

Despite being overshadowed in media attention by his runner-up, Adam Lambert, the season eight champion has quietly achieved success with his self-titled second album. This album was launched in November 2009 and entered the Billboard 200 at number 11 upon release. One of its tracks, “I Need to Know,” was played on an episode of “The Vampire Diaries.”

Meanwhile, this celebrity has been expanding his family, having welcomed three children with his long-time girlfriend, Katy O’Connell.

If being popular were an award, the runner-up from the eighth season, despite the controversy, would be considered a triple crown champion. Ever since his time on that reality show, he’s released numerous albums, spearheaded tours, garnered countless nominations (even earning a Grammy nod), followed in the footsteps of Freddie Mercury as the frontman for Queen, and has even starred in Fox’s reboot of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. He also briefly served as a guest judge on Idol and helped kick off the 2019 Oscars with a performance of “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions.

Following the conclusion of American Idol’s eighth season, I was fortunate enough to tie the knot with my wonderful wife, Leyicet Peralta, in 2012. Together, we are blessed with four beautiful children.

Being nominated for the Grammy award thrice, he introduced a Christian music album entitled “Jesus People” in the year 2021. In addition to that, he runs his own eyewear business, called Danny Gokey Eyewear.

Following his inclusion in the finalists’ summer tour in 2010 as the season nine winner of Idol, Lee launched his independent music career. He subsequently tied the knot with model-actress Jonna Walsh in 2012, having met her during the production of his debut music video post-Idol. Now, this renowned artist is recognized as a successful singer-songwriter, with many of his compositions being featured on hit shows such as The Walking Dead.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share my admiration for this incredible artist who narrowly missed the crown, trailing behind Lee DeWyze in season nine. With a voice reminiscent of Janis Joplin and the spirit to match, she captured hearts as she married musician Brian Walker. In the chilly month of December 2010, she graced our ears with her debut album, “Farmer’s Daughter.”

Unfortunately, her label deal took a hit when RCA dismantled Arista, J Records, and Jive Records. However, she made her small-screen debut on the second season of ABC’s “Body of Proof.”

In May 2013, the singer parted ways with her husband. Reflecting on this change, she confided to The Boot that her second album, “All That For This,” represented “the next chapter in my life.”

Since then, this mother of two has continued to bless us with her music, releasing 2017’s “Alive” and 2022’s “HitchHiker.

The season 10 champion became the first Idol titleholder since Ruben to see his debut album, “Clear as Day,” reach the top of the Billboard 200 charts. In 2011, he was awarded New Artist of the Year at the American Country Awards and performed the national anthem prior to Game 1 of the World Series. In June 2018, the singer of “This Is It” and “Five More Minutes” tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend, Gabi Dugal. Their son, Avery, was born in October 2022.

After coming second to Scotty on a popular talent show, the beloved country artist secured a record deal and launched her studio debut, “Wildflower,” in October 2011. Post-Idol, she shared the stage with Scotty at the 2011 CMT Music Awards, made her Grand Ole Opry debut, and even performed with Martina McBride at the CMA Music Festival.

In 2017, she earned her first recognition from the CMAs when nominated for Best New Artist due to the success of her album, “Road Less Traveled.” She later ventured into acting, starring in a film with the same title.

The singer known for “Thicc As Thieves” announced her engagement to Cam Arnold during a performance at the Grand Ole Opry in November 2022.

In the tenth season, the contestant didn’t manage to reach the top spot, finishing sixth instead. This was partly due to the judges using their one save from five weeks prior. However, he had a dedicated fan base, or a “cult favorite.” He went on to perform in the American Idol Live tour, collaborated with fellow finalist (and reported love interest) Haley Reinhart on a cover of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” and eventually signed with jazz label Concord.

His debut album, titled after his name, was released in 2012. This was followed by 2018’s “I Put A Spell On You” and 2019’s “Jazz.”

Allen was eliminated prior to the live voting rounds during season 10, but since then, he has released two consecutive No. 1 hits, “Best Shot” and “Make Me Want To,” in 2018 and won the 2021 Country Music Association Award for New Artist of the Year. In April 2023, Allen and his wife Alexis announced they were expecting their third child and were ending their two-year marriage. Approximately a month later, Jimmie was accused of sexual assault and abuse by his former manager in a lawsuit. Although he admitted to infidelity and apologized publicly to Alexis for embarrassing her with the affair, he denied the sexual misconduct allegations, stating that his relationship with his former manager was consensual. Just after the birth of their son Cohen Ace James in September, the couple announced they were working on reconciling.

Following his victory in season 11, the artist ascended to the summit of music charts with his popular song “Home,” doubling as anthem for NBC’s broadcast of the 2012 Summer Olympics. His most recent album, titled “Drift Back,” was launched in June of this year.

In 2015, he exchanged vows with his beloved, Hannah Blackwell, during an intimate ceremony attended by family and friends. Four years down the line, they became parents for the first time, welcoming a son they named Patch.

The Season 16 winner hinted to TopMob News that the album titled “Whirlwind,” released in 2019 following her victory on American Idol, features a variety of unique sounding songs. She shared that she finds it challenging to stick with one particular sound because she adores them all so deeply and it’s hard to remain in one style.

However, her 2023 single “SOS I’m In Love” has a clear perspective. It’s worth mentioning that she is publicly announcing her relationship with musician Gabe Burdulis after parting ways with Season 16 runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson.

After finishing as the runner-up in season 16, the singer has been dedicated to creating new music and taking advantage of the chances that come with being on ABC’s show. In an interview with TopMob News, Caleb Lee said, “Music has always been my passion, and I’ve always dreamed of becoming an artist. Being part of the series taught me a lot about the entertainment industry. I even got to perform with Luke Bryan at one of his concerts!” His latest album, “Southern Galactic,” was released in October 2023.

Following her third-place finish on season 16 of American Idol, the “I Hope” country singer poured her efforts into completing her album. She expressed her eagerness to perform at Stagecoach and considered touring with Brad Paisley as a delightful bonus, sharing with TopMob News, “It’s mind-blowing to go on tour with him.”

Approaching the two-year mark since she and fellow contestant Cade Foehner became parents to daughter Baylah, they expanded their family by welcoming a son named Augustine in October 2022. In February 2024, they welcomed their third child into the world.
