In the game “Cash Cleaner Simulator”, it’s important to note that not every bill you encounter is identical. Sometimes, you may discover counterfeit or marked currency with different types of markings on them.
Although these symbols on the bill don’t make it inherently illegal, they are distinct from typical legitimate currency. Occasionally, you may require or need to avoid such bills for specific tasks. However, identifying these symbols can be challenging. What purpose do they serve, and what do they signify?
Read on and we’ll tell you everything you need to know about marked money.
How to Find Marked Money + All Types Explained | Cash Cleaner Simulator
Similar to what we detailed in our tutorial on identifying counterfeit currency, a UV light will be essential for you. Initially, a compact UV Lamp would suffice. You can obtain this from various sources, including the black market at approximately 750 Crypto. As you progress, more advanced options will become accessible.
To get the best use out of the UV light, don’t forget to switch off the regular lights by operating the levers on the walls. If you’ve already unlocked it, you can also opt for a “Dark Room” or “Workshop” if available. It’s essential to reduce other light sources as much as feasible since the red markings may be hard to see otherwise.
To put it simply, feel free to refer to the picture provided as a guide showing the differences between genuine, counterfeit, and marked currency.
A useful technique for distinguishing marked bills from the rest is to bunch up money by gripping it with your left-click button. After that, maintain your right-click and press the ‘X’ key while moving your mouse back and forth horizontally. This action will spread out the stack of money, enabling you to easily identify any marked bills as they stand out from the rest!
It’s important to mention that sophisticated Money Counters cannot identify marked bills. However, they can distinguish counterfeit ones, just not the ones with marks on them.
All Types of Marks Explained
Regarding the marks, there are three distinct types, as you can see in the illustration. Here’s who they represent:
1. Type 1
2. Type 2
3. Type 3
Or simply:
The marks displayed above fall into three categories: Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3.
- Gang Markings – These appear as things such as a striped square, a square with an hourglass inside, or a thick small cross.
- FDI Markings – A big eye covering about half of the bill.
- Police Markings – A large thin cross that covers the full side of the bill. Make sure not to mix this one up with the small, thick cross for gangs!
It’s also worth mentioning that these distinctive marks are found exclusively on U.S. dollar bills, as they don’t appear on other in-game currencies, at least in the present release of the game.
Even though I’ve explained everything about identifying marked money and the types in Cash Cleaner Simulator, it’s still essential for you to thoroughly examine each one of the thousands of bills you have. Now that you understand their significance, you can go ahead with your task more confidently!
