Besides creating feature films, Martin Scorsese has also directed and produced numerous documentaries, including ‘Shine a Light’ about the Rolling Stones and ‘George Harrison: Living in the Material World.’ His fascination with The Beatles persists, as demonstrated by his latest production, ‘Beatles 64,’ which centers on the band’s first US appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. David Tedeschi, who has edited Scorsese’s past music documentaries and co-directed ‘The 50 year Argument’ with him, is directing this film. Margaret Bodde, who has produced all the aforementioned documentaries, is once again the producer for ‘Beatles 64.’

As a devoted cinephile, I had the opportunity to watch “Speak No Evil,” a Dutch production that graced our screens in 2022. This gripping film, co-written and directed by Christian Tafdrup, revolves around a Danish family’s visit to their newly met Dutch counterparts during a holiday. Initially, it appeared as if we were in for an idyllic weekend; however, the facade of politeness began to crumble as the Danes found themselves in increasingly uncomfortable situations. By the bleakest of endings, things had reached a level of awkwardness and unpleasantness that was almost unbearable.
