Epic Games Store Makes $60 PC Game Free for 24 Hours

For the next 24 hours, PC players on the Epic Games Store can download Jurassic World Evolution 2, developed by Frontier Developments in the UK. This game is a follow-up to the 2018 title, Jurassic World Evolution, which itself received a sequel, Jurassic World Evolution 3, last October. All three games combine building and managing a dinosaur park with simulation gameplay.

The popular historical film Gladiator, directed by Ridley Scott and earning $466 million worldwide, became available on Peacock on December 1st. Released in 2000, the movie stars Russell Crowe as a Roman general named Maximus who is betrayed by the Emperor Commodus (played by Joaquin Phoenix). Forced into gladiatorial combat, Maximus fights his way to revenge and attempts to reclaim Rome’s honor. While a sequel, Gladiator II, was released in 2024, it isn’t currently available on the streaming service.

According to Hasbro, Ohlen felt he had completed his work and wanted to transition leadership to the rest of the team. He’s also expressed a desire to focus more on creative work for tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons at Wizards of the Coast.
