The new horror movie, The Nun II, is the latest installment in The Conjuring Universe franchise and a direct sequel to The Nun. Directed by Michael Chaves, it will be available to stream on Netflix starting November 1st. Set in France in 1956, the film follows Sister Irene (played by Taissa Farmiga) as she battles the demonic nun Valak once again, this time to protect a convent and its community. Jonas Bloquet and Bonnie Aarons return as Maurice and Sister Debra, and the cast also includes Anna Popplewell and Katelyn Rose.

The latest update, version 1.1.4, for Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A major focus of this update is improving parkour, with a new “Advanced Parkour” setting giving players greater freedom and control over movement. Players can also explore newly added “Corrupted Castles” which offer a more challenging experience. This update also includes numerous bug fixes addressing issues with quests, graphics, and overall performance.

With the release of Wicked: For Good approaching in late November, early reactions are appearing on social media. Critics generally love the film, especially the performances by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. The popular anime One Piece has announced that the current story arc, Egghead, will finish by the end of this year. After that, there will be a three-month break before new episodes return in April 2026. Instead of releasing episodes weekly, the anime will switch to a seasonal format with 26 episodes per year. Along with this change, fans got a first look at how the anime will adapt the Elbaph arc and a preview of new outfits for the Straw Hat crew.

The BBC announced that Disney+ will no longer be involved in producing future seasons of the show, bringing their two-year collaboration to a close. It’s currently unknown whether this change affects where people can watch the series, or just how it’s made.
