Eternals: Marvel Confirms No “Immediate Plans” for Sequel

According to Marvel’s benchmarks, Chloe Zhao’s “Eternals” underperformed both critically and financially. When it premiered, it was panned by critics and currently holds one of the lowest ratings within the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Rotten Tomatoes, surpassed only by “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.” Consequently, there’s been little demand for a sequel to this film, which Marvel Studios is carefully monitoring. Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, has stated that no plans are in place for “Eternals 2” at present.

I was excitedly following Microsoft’s news earlier this month when they revealed some updates for Xbox Game Pass. Along with increasing prices and eliminating the base console tier for new subscribers, they were also replacing it with a new standard version that wouldn’t offer day one releases. This change was quite notable, but it looks like Microsoft might have more surprises in store for us.

Marvel Set to Connect Star Wars Trilogies With Upcoming Miniseries

Star Wars comic timeline currently lies between “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi.” With those stories coming to an end, Marvel Comics has announced new titles set in the gap between “Return of the Jedi” and “The Force Awakens.” The upcoming miniseries, “Star Wars: The Battle of Jakku – Insurgency Rising,” explores a significant battle following the Galactic Empire’s fall. This conflict has been largely unexplored since it was hinted at in the 2015 film. Issue one of this four-issue series will be available on October 2nd.
