Bobby Lashley’s wrestling career with WWE could be coming to an end. According to recent reports, his contract is nearing its expiration and he has been taken off the company’s internal roster. For over a year, Lashley has been part of the SmackDown roster, teaming up with The Street Profits to create a stable named The Pride. Together, they defeated The Final Testament at WrestleMania 40. However, their success hasn’t led to many opportunities since then. In fact, Lashley has only had six matches post-WrestleMania 40 and none since May 5th. He was initially scheduled to join the King of the Ring tournament but was forced to withdraw due to injury.

Todd McFarlane’s anticipated Spawn movie, long-awaited by fans, will reportedly be named “King Spawn.” This title update was shared by the comic book icon himself via social media recently. The announcement comes accompanied by a script cover, implying that the script has been finalized and filming could begin soon. Given that this revelation occurred during Comic Con week, it’s likely McFarlane or Blumhouse Productions have more news to share this week. Last year, Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions mentioned his intention to release the movie in theaters by 2025. If production starts promptly and with a budget and timeline that allows for a swift shoot, it’s plausible that goal could still be met.
