Since its introduction in 1997, Eiichiro Oda has been shaping the universe of the Grand Line for One Piece. The manga artist is renowned for a legendary work ethic, dedicating countless hours and following a demanding routine to ensure that Luffy’s voyage with his Straw Hat crew remains captivating. Recently, Oda has added the role of Executive Producer for Netflix’s live-action One Piece series to his responsibilities. With the Straw Hat Pirates deep in their final saga, it is time for Oda to enjoy a well-deserved retirement.

The new feature represents the fifth unique film adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s works, starting with Jim Carrey’s beloved Christmas tale “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” (2000), followed by Mike Myers’ “The Cat in the Hat” (2003), another Jim Carrey production “Horton Hears a Who!” (2008), and Zac Efron and Danny DeVito-starring “The Lorax” (2012). The Grinch was reimagined in 2018 with Benedict Cumberbatch lending his voice, and Warner Bros. Pictures Animation has planned for the release of animated movies based on Dr. Seuss books “Thing One and Thing Two” and “The Cat in the Hat” in 2026, featuring Bill Hader as the voice of the title character.

As a die-hard gamer, I’m pumped to share that this year, we’ve got MLB The Show 25 dropping on March 18th! For the very first time in the game’s history, we’re seeing multiple MLB legends grace the cover instead of just one athlete. This time around, we’ve got Elly De La Cruz from the Cincinnati Reds, Gunnar Henderson from the Baltimore Orioles, and Paul Skenes from the Pittsburgh Pirates. These three are some of the hottest young talents in baseball right now, so it makes perfect sense to see them on MLB The Show 25! Can’t wait to get my hands on this one!

At Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023, it was announced that “New Jedi Order” is an upcoming standalone film, happening 15 years after the events of “The Rise of Skywalker.” Daisy Ridley will reprise her role as Rey, who will lead a new phase for the Jedi Order. Over the past few years, this project has faced challenges in production, going through multiple screenwriters. Most recently, George Nolfi, co-writer of “The Bourne Ultimatum,” has taken over scriptwriting duties from Steven Knight. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is set to direct “New Jedi Order,” though a release date has not been established yet.

The Small Yet Strong event in Pokemon Go, starting February 5th at 10 AM local time and ending on February 8th at 8 PM, focuses on small but powerful Pokemon, particularly Bug-type ones that will appear more frequently in the wild. This special occasion also marks the introduction of Shiny Nymble for the first time. Players can look forward to hunting for Shiny Nymble as it’s listed among the increased wild encounters during this event.
