It’s undeniable that the trailers for “The Phantom Menace” and other Star Wars prequels were exceptional. The franchise’s grand visuals make it ideal for creating compelling trailers using carefully selected, out-of-context shots. This technique is evident even in later trailers for movies like “The Rise of Skywalker”. Particularly, the original teaser trailer for “The Phantom Menace” remains a masterpiece and continues to be regarded as the greatest Star Wars trailer ever made, even after all these years.

The final new episode from “South Park,” titled “South Park: The End of Obesity,” premiered on Paramount+ in Spring 2024, and since then, it’s been relatively quiet regarding any new releases. However, speaking with Bloomberg last Fall, co-creator Matt Stone disclosed that the delay in releasing new episodes is due to their current focus on a movie project involving Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free. Nevertheless, fans can look forward to fresh “South Park” episodes in 2025.

It turns out that Dragon Ball Daima confirmed that Vegeta had indeed mastered the Super Saiyan 3 form, contrary to earlier suggestions in Dragon Ball Super suggesting he might have skipped over it. Via Hyperkin, the gaming accessory maker, has revealed their latest product – the Hyper Strummer guitar controller compatible with Nintendo Wii. Primarily designed to function with games from the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises, the Hyper Strummer is a wireless guitar controller that improves upon its predecessor, a model previously sold by Hyperkin. This new edition of the controller will be available for purchase at $76.99 starting January 8th this week.

Unlike many fighting games, especially those based on anime, the game “Dragon Ball FighterZ” is a standout success. It masterfully combines intense gameplay with Akira Toriyama’s exceptional character designs. With 24 playable characters (and 20 more as downloadable content), players won’t need to make a wish on a Dragon Ball to see these characters battle it out in various locations in stunning 2.5D graphics. ARC System Works, known for “Guilty Gear”, has crafted an experience that, even today, is unparalleled. “Dragon Ball FighterZ” has also found its place in e-sports, with famous matches like SonicFoxx vs GO1 at EVO. While games like “Mortal Kombat 11” and “Street Fighter V” are available on PS Plus, it’s clear that “Dragon Ball FighterZ” will be dearly missed when it’s not.

In Richtman’s post, it wasn’t clear which particular characters from the “Skeleton Crew” might appear in the movie. The series revolves around Wim, Neel, Fern, and KB, a quartet of children who find themselves adrift in the Star Wars universe. As they struggle to return home, these kids meet Jod Na Nawood, a pirate on a quest for treasure. Given the ambiguity in Richtman’s statement, it could potentially refer to one of the main characters or any of the numerous supporting characters the crew has encountered during their adventures.
