In the third season of the animated series “What If…?”, we find Storm, played by Alison Sealy-Smith from both “X-Men: The Animated Series” and “X-Men ’97”, joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In this version of events, she becomes the Goddess of Thunder and Mistress of Cosmic Elements. Alongside Captain Carter (Helen Sadler), Kahhori (Devery Jacobs), and Byrdie (Natasha Lyonne), Storm is one of the Guardians of the Multiverse. Wielding the enchanted hammer Mjølnir, she protects this reality under the watchful eye of Uatu the Watcher (Jeffrey Wright). In other words, in this alternate universe, we discover that Storm isn’t the only X-Man to wield Thor’s hammer.
