In “Punisher: War Zone,” the character Frank Castle, often referred to as The Punisher, persistently works towards eliminating criminal organizations. This time, he encounters Billy Russoti, known as Jigsaw (played by Dominic West), a mobster. Frank’s objective is to prevent Jigsaw from advancing in the underworld, but he also faces challenges from a special task force called “The Punisher Task Force,” whose goal is to apprehend him. Directed by Lexi Alexander, who is recognized for her skills as a martial artist and stunt performer, this film continues the story of The Punisher.

In their Christmas greeting of December 2024, Supergiant Games paused to reminisce on the Early Access phase for Hades 2. They offered a sneak peek at what’s to come in the next significant update, which will feature “the climactic battle of the game’s alternate path.” At that point, Supergiant Games hinted at a release window for this second major Hades 2 update in early 2025. While it’s understood that “early” deadlines can vary among developers, fans remain optimistic, hoping that it signifies a possible launch date in January or February.
While I appreciate the style and find myself immersed in KCD2, medieval Bohemia doesn’t quite grab me as my preferred setting to explore. The game does an excellent job of recreating it, but I find myself yearning for other periods in history to be given such intricate treatment. Perhaps a focus on the future could be equally engaging and fascinating.
