Nate Moore, a long-time producer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has shared the reason behind the title change of the fourth Captain America movie. In an interview with Empire Magazine (through ComingSoon), he explained that the initial choice, “New World Order,” was intriguing and somewhat ominous. However, feedback received both internally and externally suggested that this phrase had unfortunately become associated with controversial conspiracy theories, causing discomfort among some people. Given the political themes in Captain America films and the sensitive nature of the term “new world order,” it’s understandable why Marvel Studios would opt for a less contentious title, particularly in our current divisive society.
In the latest episodes of Dragon Ball Daima, we’re introduced to a fresh batch of Majin Buu descendants, and Shueisha has recently unveiled the original designs that the late creator Akira Toriyama created for Majin Kuu and Majin Duu. Interestingly, Dragon Ball Daima was initially inspired by the 40th anniversary of Akira Toriyama’s first Dragon Ball manga, which originally appeared in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Regrettably, Toriyami passed away before the anime adaptation began, but fans can still appreciate his work through the new storylines and characters that are being introduced as part of the ongoing adventure in the new anime.
In Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Shadow the Hedgehog casts a more somber presence. The main villain was hinted at in the end credits of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and this role became more prominent in the new movie. The latest addition to the Sonic the Hedgehog film series explores Shadow’s (Keanu Reeves) tragic past through the introduction of characters like Maria (Alyla Browne) and Gerald Robotnik (Jim Carrey). Although the characters from Sonic Adventures 2 are linked to Shadow’s background, the movie portrays several key events, including a major death, quite differently than they were in the 2001 video game.
Earlier this year, the inventor of ‘Dead Space’ proposed a new installment, ‘Dead Space 4’, which unfortunately didn’t meet approval from EA. ‘Dead Space’ is a groundbreaking horror video game series that has faced challenges in finding its footing within the industry for some time. The first ‘Dead Space’ was released back in 2008, following closely on the heels of Capcom’s timeless horror masterpiece, ‘Resident Evil 4’. Taking inspiration from games like Resident Evil, ‘Dead Space’ transported its terror into the cold, dark void of space. It was chilling, gruesome, and immensely captivating. Glen Schofield, its creator, eventually departed from Visceral Games to establish Sledgehammer Games where he focused on Call of Duty games, but ‘Dead Space’ still saw two more titles released.
In the time span that has passed since the event that exterminated dinosaurs, Marvel Comics is now stepping into an era reminiscent of the dinosaur age. The publisher has shared news that Dinosaur Doom, a dino equivalent of Victor von Doom who holds the titles of Sorcerer Supreme and Emperor of the World, will return to rule Earth again. This will be depicted in a series of variant covers symbolizing Victor von Doom’s dominion over the Marvel Universe in the storyline “One World Under Doom“.
