Fans of the Legacy of Kain series have long been able to bring back their cherished franchise, as hints of its revival have become more apparent over time. At San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, branding for the remastered versions of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 and 2 caught the eye of many, suggesting an upcoming announcement. Now, the anticipation seems to be nearing its end, as a PlayStation Store listing for these remasters has unexpectedly appeared online.

The exciting event titled “Super Mario Party Jamboree” is set to arrive on Nintendo Switch next month, and a fresh, detailed trailer has just been unveiled. This new trailer spans over five minutes, providing a wealth of information about the game, helping players understand what they can anticipate from the final version. The trailer delves into the different modes available in the game, including novel online features like Koopathalon and Bowser Kaboom Squad. Naturally, it also offers glimpses of several new minigames that will be included, some designed for handheld mode and others playable with detached Joy-Cons.

Today, September 24th, the first expansion for Mortal Kombat 1 titled “Khaos Reigns” is being released as DLC. This expansion brings new and returning characters such as Cyrax, Sektor, Noob Saibot, Ghostface, Conan the Barbarian, and the T-1000 (with some arriving at different times). Keep in mind that you’ll need to purchase this expansion. However, there’s a free update for Mortal Kombat 1 available today as well, which includes adjustments for 20 different fighters, as detailed in the extensive patch notes.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of James Cameron’s groundbreaking 1984 action movie, The Terminator, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Exciting news for fans as new Blu-ray versions are coming soon! However, the pre-orders for the Steelbook Limited Edition 4K Blu-ray flew off the shelves shortly after they were launched last month. Fortunately, the standard edition is still available and its cover was unveiled today along with a release date of November 19th.

Year after year, games produced by EA Sports FC (previously known as FIFA) introduce key features that are hyped up as revolutionary, but usually fall short of expectations, offering only superficial enhancements to the gameplay. However, for the first time in a while, it seems like some of the modifications made in EA Sports FC 25 actually provide tangible improvements that are noticeable right away. Granted, this is still a typical iterative annual sports franchise, so it’s not surprising that these changes are primarily incremental – it’s unrealistic to expect major overhauls from the genre at this stage. Nevertheless, FC 25 feels like one of the better versions of this formula in recent years.
