The upcoming game to be added to Xbox Game Pass in 2026 is none other than “High on Life 2”, scheduled for release on February 13, 2026. Interestingly, this sequel will not just be exclusive to Xbox but also available on PS5 and PC platforms. A departure from its predecessor, the first game was initially an exclusive for the Xbox Series X console, arriving later on the PS5 a year afterwards. The first game did expand to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 this year, however, there is no confirmed news about “High on Life 2” being released on any of these platforms. Consistently, upon its release, “High on Life 2” will be accessible for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC subscribers, similar to the first game. Unlike its predecessor, “High on Life 2” will launch on PS5 but won’t be part of PlayStation Plus, at least not initially.

The scheduled event is set to happen at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills in Tokyo, Japan on the 23rd of September. Audience members can attend in person, with tickets becoming available from the 2nd of September on the official website. Although specifics about the event haven’t been fully disclosed yet, Kojima Productions has confirmed that it will approximately run for 2.5 hours, commencing at 1 pm JST and concluding at 3:30 pm JST.
