Palworld Developer Responds to Nintendo/Pokemon Lawsuit, Suggests Possible Content Delays

Yesterday, Nintendo and Pokemon Company filed a joint lawsuit against Pocketpair, creators of Palworld. The company further stated that this lawsuit could potentially delay updates and new content as they shift their focus from development to handling the lawsuit.

Netflix’s Monster Series Casts Sons of Anarchy’s Charlie Hunnam as Ed Gein for Season 3

Actor Charlie Hunnam, known for roles in “Rebel Moon” and “Sons of Anarchy”, has agreed to take the lead in Netflix’s controversial true-crime series “Monster” for its third season. Hunnam will portray notorious serial killer Ed Gein, whose grotesque actions served as inspiration for several fictional characters such as Leatherface from “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and Norman Bates in “Psycho”. Gein maintained a strained and unhealthy relationship with his deeply religious mother, who instilled in him the belief that women and modern society were inherently corrupt. He lived with her until her death, and became increasingly fixated on her as time went on.

Yars Rising Review – A Stylish Stew of Old and New

The creators of the Shantae series have skillfully paid homage to the vintage Atari 2600 game, Yars Revenge, by designing a unique amalgamation titled Yars Rising. This fusion of platforming and retro Atari-style gameplay is seamlessly integrated into the storyline through the protagonist’s progressive enhancements. Progress can be saved at arcade machines, and augmentations are earned upon completion of classic Yars stages, creatively merging old and new elements. The gameplay includes Mega Man-like run-and-gun segments, stealth, and backtracking in balanced proportions. WayForward is well-versed in platformers, and they’ve delivered a commendable effort with Yars Rising. However, the game isn’t without its imperfections. Fortunately, it boasts an appealing visual aesthetic, making it worthwhile to delve deeper into its features first.
