The concept known as “Mercy of the Father” follows the ripples caused by Dr. Thomas Wayne’s act of mercy towards Joe Chill. This is a significant event in the Batman origin story, where readers appreciate the dramatic irony when they learn that it was Dr. Wayne who saved the life of the man who would later murder both him and his wife, Martha, in front of their son, Bruce. However, this chain of events doesn’t stop there. At the moment Dr. Wayne intervened, Chill also had a pregnant teenage girlfriend. Martha Wayne helped her escape before their tragic deaths. Fast forward to present day, and Chill’s daughter, Scarlett Martha Scott, has reappeared in Bruce Wayne’s life and is now a suspect in Batman’s current investigation.

In April of 2025, “My Hero Academia: Vigilantes” is set to premiere as part of the Spring anime lineup. This spin-off series is based on the official prequel to the original “My Hero Academia,” and it takes place years before the main storyline. The show focuses on a group of characters who join the hero profession through less legitimate methods, since at that time, the hero association had not yet expanded to their small town. The main plan is to provide Netflix members access to movies ahead of the general public, as Ted Sarandos explained during the earnings call. He clarified that releasing “The Chronicles of Narnia” in IMAX theaters is a strategic move, not the primary strategy. This is often done to meet award criteria, fulfill festival requirements, and generate buzz. However, the Narnia release is unique as it’s designed as a “two-week special event,” specifically on IMAX screens. Sarandos highlighted that this approach is exclusive to IMAX screens, making it distinct from other releases because of the large screen size. He also pointed out that working with IMAX simplifies the release process significantly.

Even though we’ve already caught a glimpse of his in-game character, there’s still no confirmed release date as of yet. In the interim, director Ed Boon has unveiled a sneak peek at its gameplay, featuring a Fatality scene where the character is driving a wrecked semi-truck over an opponent. This particular Fatality seems to pay tribute to the iconic car chase sequence from a movie, but don’t expect Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800 to make an appearance and lend a helping hand this time around.

38 years ago, during the God Valley Incident, he was taken in and raised as part of the Roger Pirates crew by Roger and Rayleigh. Since then, this pirate’s background remains largely a mystery. Interestingly, his apparent twin lived under completely different circumstances and became a Holy Knight, with his rank alone making him one of the most powerful characters in the series. Given that Garling is his father, it is plausible that Shanks’ brother assumed command after the original commander left to join the Gorosei. Despite being enigmatic and captivating, some viewers dislike this character due to accusations of defaming Shanks within the fan community.

Speaking of video games, there’s a classic side-scroller called Ninja Five-O from Konami, which is quite valuable now and can be rather expensive to purchase. You might find the cartridges, but they usually sell for hundreds of dollars in their original packaging, making them an unreachable luxury for many gamers.
