This week, Marvel revealed a collection of covers featuring Ben Grimm / The Thing that will be included in their comics coming out in November 2024. These covers are designed to honor The Thing’s popular image within the comic world and generate excitement for Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s portrayal of the character in the upcoming movie, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” which is set for release next summer.
The upcoming sequel to the 2021 horror hit, “The Black Phone,” titled “The Black Phone 2,” has brought on board a seasoned horror actor, Demián Bichir, as per Deadline’s report. As of now, specific details about his character and the movie plot remain undisclosed. However, it is confirmed that Scott Derrickson will be back to direct, with C. Robert Cargill co-writing the script alongside him – both of whom were involved in the original film as well. The original cast members, Ethan Hawke, Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davies, and Miguel Mora, are also expected to reprise their roles. “The Black Phone 2” is scheduled for release on October 17, 2025.
