As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled about “My Hero Academia: You’re Next,” the upcoming big-screen adventure for the beloved superhero shonen series. In just a few weeks, this film is set to storm North American theaters, following its successful run in Japanese cinemas. This time around, our heroes – Deku and Class 1-A – aren’t facing off against villains like All For One, Shigaraki, Nine, or the Humanize cult, but rather a formidable foe that bears a chilling resemblance to someone more familiar. Dark Might seems to be a menacing doppelganger of the former Symbol of Peace, and he’s got his sights set on giving our heroes quite a challenge! The latest English Dub trailer gives us a glimpse into the intense action that awaits.

The iconic status of the 1999 sci-fi comedy film Galaxy Quest has continued to expand throughout the years, making a high-definition update necessary. As this year marks the 25th anniversary of the movie, it seems like an ideal moment for such an upgrade. In fact, Funko already released Galaxy Quest merchandise earlier in the year as part of the celebration. With that in mind, two versions of Galaxy Quest on 4K UHD Blu-ray / Digital became available for pre-order today – a standard version and a Limited Edition Steelbook edition featuring new artwork that is expected to run out soon.

This year alone, several new titles have dived headfirst into the genre, and one of them is returning for a second season. The adorable Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian is among this year’s most charming anime offerings, and it has just been granted a season two commission!

Kota Ibushi and Kenny Omega, friends for a long time, have recently been spotted together again after quite a while apart. The pictures offer a first glance at Omega’s recovery following his serious health issue which has kept him away from wrestling since December last year. In the photos, they are seen posing for the camera in Ibushi’s training facility in Japan. The second image shows them enjoying themselves by raising their drinks. “World domination is just around the corner,” Ibushi posted on Instagram. “Had a great workout after a long gap. We still have a long way to go. Next stop: AEW!

Hey there, Dark Knight! The exciting, free-to-play platform fighting game called MultiVersus has made its way onto the pages of DC Comics. Starting September 18th, MultiVersus: Collision Detected #1 launches a new six-issue limited series written by Bryan Q. Miller (Batgirl) and illustrated by Jon Sommariva (Star Wars Adventures). This comic will unveil the original tale behind the game, developed by Player First Games and published by Warner Bros. Games.

In recent times, Zack Snyder has established a fruitful collaboration with Netflix, developing significant shows for their streaming service. Known for directing films like “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice“, “Justice League“, and “300“, he has brought his skills to the platform, resulting in productions such as the “Rebel Moon” movies, “Army of The Dead“, and “Army of Thieves“. Although an animated series connected to “Army of The Dead” might not be imminent, Snyder is diving into the realm of gods this month. The upcoming Netflix release, “Twilight of The Gods“, will premiere this week and a fresh clip has been unveiled offering a closer inspection of the animated series, which appears to draw inspiration from Norse mythology.
