Just recently, news broke about the upcoming Clayface movie, with DC Studios setting a release date – September 11, 2026 – as reported by The Wrap. Renowned filmmaker Mike Flanagan is penning the script and collaborating with Matt Reeves, director of ‘The Batman’, and Lynn Harris in production. Filming for the movie is expected to start sometime in 2025, and no cast has been disclosed yet. Interestingly, the Clayface movie’s release date aligns closely with that of The Batman 2, which is currently scheduled for October 2, 2026. This swift announcement by DC Studios comes as a pleasant surprise.
