Whoa, it’s mind-blowing to think about how profitable these Disney live-action remakes have become, from “Alice in Wonderland” back in March 2010 onwards! Nine of these movies have earned over $200 million domestically, and some, like “Beauty and the Beast”, “Aladdin”, and “Alice”, have even surpassed the $1 billion mark globally. To put it in perspective, “Beast” still holds the title as the biggest live-action musical ever made, not just domestically, but also the only one to cross the $500 million threshold right here in North America. As a movie lover, I can’t help but be amazed by these box office successes!

It’s now 10 years since Mario Kart 8 debuted, and fans have enjoyed subsequent releases such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (2017), Mario Kart Tour (2019), and Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit (2020). However, there’s been no sign of Mario Kart 9 yet. In fact, Nintendo hasn’t given any hint about the next mainline Mario Kart game, be it called Mario Kart 9 or something else. There have been whispers about a new Mario Kart, with some suggesting it would launch alongside the Nintendo Switch, which is anticipated to drop next year. But, the most recent rumor contradicts this idea about Mario Kart 9.

Among the notable events at The Game Awards, one unexpected revelation stands out: seasoned game creator Hideki Kamiya is teaming up once more with Capcom to launch a new Okami installment, this time under the auspices of a freshly-formed studio called CLOVERS.

In the game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, players have access to DLC packs, which mainly include cosmetic and non-combat related items as they haven’t released any new characters yet through the season pass. Most of these DLCs can be bought online directly, but a few have been hard to come by since launch, causing frustration for some players. One such DLC is an exclusive aura that was originally only available to Japanese V-Jump magazine readers who found ways to obtain it in the West. Fortunately, this elusive DLC is now available for purchase without resorting to any workarounds.

Rumors about the New Nintendo Switch 2 suggest that it might include an exciting new feature or upgrade that is currently absent in existing Nintendo Switch consoles. The Nintendo Switch has the potential to become the best-selling console ever, although it may narrowly miss out on this title, which is currently held by the PlayStation 2. Given its widespread popularity, it’s not surprising that the next Nintendo console is primarily an improvement upon the Nintendo Switch, rather than a completely new concept.

Although the manga adaptation of “Jujutsu Kaisen” ended in September, its anime counterpart still has plenty of uncharted territory ahead. The announcement for a third season came swiftly following the conclusion of the Shibuya Incident Arc in the manga. Season 2 has been an emotional ride, with Gojo’s backstory and the most intense arc thus far leaving fans on edge. The Shibuya Incident Arc saw a series of heartbreaking events unfold once Kenjaku successfully imprisoned Gojo within the Prison Realm.
