At The Game Awards, the CEO of Gearbox graced the stage to unveil a sneak peek of what’s to come in Borderlands 4, set to release in 2025 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and personal computers. Many fans had hoped that Tifa Lockhart from “Final Fantasy 7” would make an appearance due to high fan demand, but the announced DLC character isn’t Tifa. Instead, it’s another star from the “Final Fantasy” series.
