Kraven the Hunter Set for Disastrous Box Office Opening Weekend

Sony’s movie adaptation of Marvel Comics’ character, Kraven the Hunter, is facing a tough time at the box office during its opening weekend, as it’s only expected to make around $11-12 million domestically. This performance pales in comparison to the November holdovers, which are still reigning supreme at the cinema this holiday season. Moana 2, another juggernaut, is poised to win its third consecutive weekend with a projected earnings of $26 million in the U.S., while family-friendly musical Wicked isn’t far behind in second place with an estimated $23.3 million.

Mario Kart 9 Leak Reveals Release Date Surprise

It’s now 10 years since Mario Kart 8 debuted, and fans have enjoyed subsequent releases such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (2017), Mario Kart Tour (2019), and Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit (2020). However, there’s been no sign of Mario Kart 9 yet. In fact, Nintendo hasn’t given any hint about the next mainline Mario Kart game, be it called Mario Kart 9 or something else. There have been whispers about a new Mario Kart, with some suggesting it would launch alongside the Nintendo Switch, which is anticipated to drop next year. But, the most recent rumor contradicts this idea about Mario Kart 9.

One Piece’s Elbaf Arc Has One Mystery It Needs to Address

For over two decades now, enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating the Elbaf Arc from the One Piece series. Characters like Dorry and Brogy’s appearance in the Little Garden Arc hinted that the Straw Hat Pirates would eventually venture into the Land of Giants. This secluded island isn’t easily accessible, but with the future Pirate King at its helm, nothing is beyond reach for his crew. The Elbaf Arc was officially initiated in Chapter 1126, marking a fresh chapter for the Straw Hats following a short break. It’s the second arc of the Final Saga and is anticipated to carry significant weight in the overall storyline.

Why Don’t Live-Action Disney Remake Sequels Make Money?

Whoa, it’s mind-blowing to think about how profitable these Disney live-action remakes have become, from “Alice in Wonderland” back in March 2010 onwards! Nine of these movies have earned over $200 million domestically, and some, like “Beauty and the Beast”, “Aladdin”, and “Alice”, have even surpassed the $1 billion mark globally. To put it in perspective, “Beast” still holds the title as the biggest live-action musical ever made, not just domestically, but also the only one to cross the $500 million threshold right here in North America. As a movie lover, I can’t help but be amazed by these box office successes!
