This week, AMC’s new series in Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, titled “Anne Rice’s The Talamasca“, has cast Elizabeth McGovern for a significant role as the head of the secretive organization’s New York Motherhouse. McGovern’s addition to the cast follows closely after William Fichtner’s role, who will play a member of The Talamasca with antagonistic tendencies, controlling and influencing the London Motherhouse. These two characters might establish an anticipated hero-villain dynamic in the series, but it seems that the show is also preparing for something more: “Anne Rice’s The Talamasca” may be setting up a potential crossover with “Interview With the Vampire” by introducing their interpretation of “The Tale of the Body Thief“.

In the latest installment of “My Hero Academia” Season 7, Shoto Todoroki and his family have reached a full circle with Shoto’s heroic intervention. This popular series by Kohei Horikoshi has consistently highlighted several key themes, one of which revolves around the complexities of the Todoroki Family. The intense competition between Endeavor and All Might in Japan’s hero rankings pushed Endeavor to a point where he subjected his family to abuse, hoping to surpass him someday. This unfortunate situation has led to numerous episodes delving into their collective pain and healing process as a family.

One of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Universe will soon be introduced into the MCU courtesy of Thunderbolts*, but he might look a bit…unassuming at first glance. Those who have watched the premiere trailer for Thunderbolts will likely recall meeting a man named Bob, and he quickly makes an impression due to how out of place he is in the chaotic proceedings. What lies behind that facade however is someone torn between two parts of himself fighting for control, and both The Sentry and The Void are true forces of nature. We’re diving into the truth about Bob and who he really is, and no, it’s not that he has six fingers (because he actually only has five after all).

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but notice the intriguing hints dropped about the return of the Darkhold in Episode 3 of Agatha All Along. For the second time within two weeks, Marvel Studios has subtly referenced the troublesome tome that stirred up so much turmoil for everyone during WandaVision. Kathryn Hahn’s character, Agatha Harkness, finds herself in the initial trial of The Witches’ Road. To survive, her coven must confront their own traumas and concoct a potion antidote. Despite her reluctance, Agatha reluctantly participates following Joe Locke’s “Teen” character’s persuasion. Upon consuming some enchanted wine, Agatha experiences hallucinations similar to those of her coven. However, under the influence of that potion, she glimpses the Darkhold. This could foreshadow significant developments in this series as we move forward.

Currently, a newly released free-to-play game is dominating the best-seller list on Steam, surpassing other popular games like Counter-Strike 2, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, EA Sports FC 25, Once Human, Witchfire, The Forever Winter, and Cyberpunk 2077. However, it’s important to note that the game isn’t actually free-to-play yet; players have bought Early Access to the game instead. Once it becomes free on October 1, it is expected to further increase its lead atop the Steam charts. Despite being a paid Early Access game, it has still managed to garner significant downloads due to its popularity. The same can be said for other popular games like Counter-Strike 2, Once Human, and so on.

In the sequel series of “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex,” characters have been gradually making their reappearance post-three year time skip. The latest installment saw the return of Gaara’s son, Shinki, although not quite in the manner fans might have anticipated. The storyline has grown increasingly intense as Boruto and the Hidden Leaf Village confront the Ten Tails invaders. However, even with the conclusion of these battles, Boruto remains a wanted individual within the village, enemy number one. This situation may be changing soon though.
