In a nod to Lois Lane, let me rephrase: “Super Man” – the title of the documentary Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story – delves into the life and career of the man who brought Superman to life in the 1978 film Superman: The Movie and its subsequent sequels. Christopher Reeve, an actor and activist, was left paralyzed from the neck down after a horse-riding accident in 1995. This feature-length documentary received praise at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be screened exclusively in theaters on September 21st and again on Reeve’s birthday, September 25th. A worldwide release is planned for later in the year.
