As a die-hard fan, I’ve always admired the incredible journey of Kevin Owens within the wrestling world. Since signing his initial contract with WWE in 2014 following an impressive stint at the Performance Center, he quickly made waves when he challenged John Cena for the United States Championship just shy of a year into his tenure. His electrifying debut victory over Big Match John marked the beginning of one of the most illustrious careers in modern WWE history.

The Twisters team gleefully threw a party upon hearing that their fellow actor David Corenswet would portray Superman on the silver screen. The Twisters film, released recently, has been a massive success at the box office, outperforming its 1996 precursor, Twister. Earlier this year, David Corenswet made headlines when it was announced by DC Studios and James Gunn that he would don the Superman suit in the upcoming 2023 Superman film. While fans eagerly await their new Superman, this anticipation is also shared by the Twisters cast and crew.

Following some speculations, Nintendo has officially announced a fresh Nintendo Direct presentation happening this coming Tuesday, August 27th at 7 a.m. Pacific Time. Unlike previous presentations, this one will offer two segments: a Partner Showcase and an Indie World, airing consecutively. In total, viewers can anticipate around 40 minutes of updates focusing on the Nintendo Switch. It’s been clarified that the event won’t include any announcements concerning Nintendo’s upcoming console.

The upcoming season for Pokémon Go has been unveiled, titled “Max Out”. This new theme is set to start on September 3rd and conclude on December 3rd. Niantic hasn’t released extensive details about the new season yet, but a special trailer was launched this morning to give us a sneak peek. The trailer suggests that Dynamax might be incorporated into the game, following numerous hints in recent weeks. With the title of the season and these hints, it appears likely that we’ll see some involvement from these colossal Pokémon!

It appears that early details about the graphical settings in Konami’s Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater have been hinted at, thanks to recent experiences with a demonstration version. Reports from a hands-on demo suggest that it can be run on PS5, and as Video Games Chronicle pointed out, it offers the option to select between Quality and Performance modes.

As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share some fantastic news: D&D Beyond has decided against implementing a contentious update to its digital character sheets, replacing all spells with those from the 2024 Dungeons & Dragons Player’s Handbook. This morning, Wizards of the Coast announced that D&D Beyond users can now rest assured knowing their character options, spells, and magical items won’t be automatically updated to the 2024 version in their character sheets. Instead, players who only have access to the 2014 Player’s Handbook will continue using their current rule set on their character sheet. For those of us with both versions, we can now enjoy the luxury of selecting from both sources when creating new characters! What a victory for the community!
