As a dedicated fan, I’ve always admired how Marvel has dominated comic sales charts. Yet, there have been instances where the quality of their books didn’t quite meet my expectations. The 1990s were a rollercoaster ride for Marvel – they experienced incredible successes with iconic titles like X-Force #1, Spider-Man #1, and X-Men #1, the best-selling comic ever. However, amidst this prosperity, Marvel also faced bankruptcy, which led to a significant shift in focus towards improving the quality of their books.

The popular manga “Jujutsu Kaisen” by Gege Akutami concluded its run in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine this Fall, leaving fans in awe following the climactic battle against Sukuna. The final two volumes of the series feature Yuji and Sukuna as the main characters one last time. Throughout the Shinjuku Showdown arc, after numerous casualties and substantial losses, Yuji ultimately brought an end to the long-standing fight against Sukuna.
