5 TV Sci-Fi Series Begging For Reboots

As a huge sci-fi fan, I’ve noticed something really interesting: certain shows just won’t die, and they keep finding ways to come back! Take Star Trek, for example. After The Next Generation rebooted the whole thing, it just kept going with series after series. And Doctor Who? The reboot from 20 years ago is still incredibly popular, and the show is almost 61 years old! It makes me think there are tons of other classic sci-fi series from the past that deserve a fresh start, and I’m hoping we see some of them revived soon.

Black Clover’s Final Arc Is Every Shonen Fan’s Dream

Because of the author Tabata’s health, Black Clover moved from Weekly Shonen Jump to Jump GIGA in December 2023. New chapters now come out a few times each quarter, meaning fans have to wait a bit longer between releases. However, it’s worth it! The chapters are now fully colored and packed with exciting twists, and the artwork has been incredible. Many fans consider the final arc of Black Clover to be one of the best in Shonen manga, and it keeps getting even better.

Stranger Things’ Ending Faces the Same Problem as One of the Most Divisive TV Finales of All Time

It’s fair to compare Stranger Things to Lost. Lost was hugely popular for introducing the idea of building a story around mysteries – giving viewers clues and letting them try to solve them. Initially, this worked really well because the puzzles felt solvable with careful observation. However, the show started adding more and more questions – like who the “Others” were or what the island actually was – without providing enough answers. By the end, while some viewers found the emotional resolution satisfying, many were left wanting explanations for the lingering mysteries. Lost took a risk by prioritizing emotional impact over logical answers, and people are still discussing whether it was the right choice years later.

Interestingly, some of the original movie actors appeared on the show as themselves, referencing their roles in the films. Despite this, there were once discussions about making a fourth High School Musical movie.

In an interview with The I Paper, Jenna Coleman, who played a companion on Doctor Who, discussed the rumors that she was fired for being difficult to work with. She said it was upsetting to read those claims, not only because they weren’t true, but also because she was contractually prevented from publicly responding due to the need to keep plot details secret.

I’m Afraid Mario Creator Shigeru Miyamoto Might Be Right About the Future of Gaming

His opinion is really valuable when we talk about where the gaming industry is headed. That’s why it’s disappointing to hear his concerns about Nintendo focusing more on things outside of traditional games. It shows how creative Nintendo still is, but also highlights a worrying trend: it’s becoming harder and harder to preserve games for the future.
