In present cinema screenings, the third installment of Deadpool and Wolverine is flourishing, breaking records for Marvel Studios. On Rotten Tomatoes, it’s been certified fresh by critics with an impressive rating of 78% and an astounding audience score of 96%. Jenna Anderson from ComicBook gave it a near-perfect 4.5 out of 5, praising it as a “madcap, significant masterpiece.” The film offers numerous surprises, including unexpected appearances by some famous faces. Chris Evans makes an unscheduled comeback to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but not in his Captain America role. Instead, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) encounter him in a strange realm called The Void, where he’s unveiled as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, the character Evans played in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). In the movie’s post-credit scene, Evans delivers some explicit dialogue, a topic he discussed recently with People magazine.
