Outward 2 launches in summer 2026

As a long-time fan of the first *Outward*, I’m super excited about *Outward 2*. The developers at Nine Dots Studio have said they’re finally able to fully realize the game they originally envisioned – a really believable and immersive adventurer experience. They’ve kept what made the first game special, but they’ve seriously upgraded things like combat, how much you feel like you *are* your character, and the character creator. They started working on *Outward* way back in 2015 with a Kickstarter, and even with a small team, they created something amazing. They really listened to player feedback after the first game and delivered what we wanted with the DLC. Now, with *Outward 2*, they’re building on that foundation, staying true to the core vision players loved, but making everything – the graphics, the immersion, and especially the combat – much, much better.

Players will experience dynamic turn-based battles where they can manipulate time, link attacks, and cleverly outsmart opponents. The game introduces Rin, a ninja from the year 2400 with the power to create illusions and masterfully wield blades, disrupting the normal flow of combat. Players will also explore unique settings like Himmenheim, a prehistoric town where Vikings and dinosaurs coexist, and the gritty cyberpunk world of 2400 AD.

Microsoft and Asus Tried to Reduce ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X Pricing – Rumor

During last month’s Gamescom, XboxEra’s Jon Clarke reported that Microsoft and Asus were considering lowering prices by covering some of the cost. Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming confirmed this was the idea “at the time,” but it seems they weren’t able to follow through with it for unknown reasons. This likely explains why a price wasn’t revealed with the release date.

Borderlands 4 Teases New Vault Hunter C4SH, Coming in Q1 2026

The post includes a picture of his gear, but it mostly suggests how his abilities and skill upgrades will work rather than giving specific details. The character’s use of two weapons fits the gunslinger theme, and there’s also a possible connection to necromancy, which is a cool idea considering Vex’s focus on summoning things.

Romeo is a Dead Man Trailer Showcases Bloody Combat and Weapon Variety

While the game shares some similarities with *No More Heroes*, it offers a wider range of weapons, including everything from huge swords to staff weapons that can split apart. You can also equip Romeo with gauntlets, a gun that fires powerful charged shots, a beam rifle, and many other tools. With so much happening at once, it can be a bit overwhelming, so be prepared!

Though lower than other Warner Bros. successes this year, this is the biggest opening weekend of director Anderson’s career.
