Marvel Comics has unveiled the upcoming stage of the X-Men’s “From the Ashes” saga. The new era began with July’s “X-Men” #1 written by Jed MacKay and illustrated by Ryan Stegman. Following this, there are several titles releasing in succession: “NYX” #1 by Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing (with art by Francesco Mortarino) on July 24th; “X-Force” #1 by Geoffrey Thorne and Marcus To on July 31st; “Uncanny X-Men” #1 by Gail Simone and David Marquez, coming August 7th; and lastly, “Exceptional X-Men” #1 by Eve L. Ewing and Carmen Carnero, slated for September 4th.

During summer’s progression, August is approaching with anticipation, and Disney+ is preparing subscribers for the new month’s offerings by announcing the arrivals in advance. On Monday, Disney unveiled the entire roster of movies and TV shows joining its platform throughout August, featuring a couple of beloved children’s programs among the new additions.
According to Marvel’s benchmarks, Chloe Zhao’s “Eternals” underperformed both critically and financially. When it premiered, it was panned by critics and currently holds one of the lowest ratings within the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Rotten Tomatoes, surpassed only by “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.” Consequently, there’s been little demand for a sequel to this film, which Marvel Studios is carefully monitoring. Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, has stated that no plans are in place for “Eternals 2” at present.
I was excitedly following Microsoft’s news earlier this month when they revealed some updates for Xbox Game Pass. Along with increasing prices and eliminating the base console tier for new subscribers, they were also replacing it with a new standard version that wouldn’t offer day one releases.
