Every September 26th, Naughty Dog marks The Last of Us Day by sharing some exciting updates. Although there are no immediate game releases planned for the series at the moment, work on the second season of HBO’s popular adaptation is progressing well, which we’ll be looking forward to this year.
The classic feature, Animalities, has made a comeback in the base game of Mortal Kombat 1, with the addition of the Khaos Reigns DLC. Fortunately, players who own the base game can still experience the new finishing moves without needing to purchase the expansion; instead, they can access it through the latest content update.
Titled “My Adventures with Superman,” this latest animated series delves into the lives of Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and other iconic figures from Metropolis, including both heroes and villains. As season two concluded with Clark Kent defeating Braniac, the team behind the scenes was eager to continue the saga of Superman. In the upcoming season three, we can expect the introduction of classic characters like Steel and Supergirl, and hints suggest that new, powerful heroes and sinister villains will make their debut in this season. Although Adult Swim hasn’t revealed an exact release date for season three on Cartoon Network, Jack Quaid – who voices Clark Kent – has recently shared some exciting news.

Seven years following its debut, PlayStation is updating the original release of “Horizon Zero Dawn”. Sony unveiled this news earlier in the week, introducing the “Horizon Zero Dawn: Ultimate Edition”, which will be available on PS5 and PC starting October 31. As anticipated, the upgrade includes visual enhancements that bring the 2017 PS4 game closer to its 2022 PS5 successor, “Horizon Forbidden West”.
