Disney+ Cancels Fantasy Series After Only One Season

The run for “Renegade Nell” has come to an end, as Disney+ recently declared that there won’t be a second season available on their streaming service. Originally introduced in March, the first and only season of the show was comprised of eight episodes, produced by Sally Wainwright. In a statement through Deadline, Disney+ expressed gratitude towards Wainwright, director Ben Taylor, and the entire cast for their exceptional effort on this series.

Dead by Daylight Event Adding More Community Cosmetics Made by Players

Behaviour Interactive, the creators of “Dead by Daylight”, have declared a comeback for their Design a Cosmetic Contest! This event will feature four categories: Killer Outfit, Survivor Outfit, Badge, and Banner. The contest is now open, running until August 19th at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. In contrast to previous years, the community will have the power to vote on a list of finalists, to be unveiled around mid-September. Voting will occur from September 19th until the 26th, with the winning designs announced by October 3rd at 10 a.m. ET. The fortunate winners not only get their design incorporated into “Dead by Daylight”, but they’ll also receive 25,000 Auric Cells, equivalent to around $200 in value.

Evil Dead Star Bruce Campbell Teases Franchise’s Future, Including His Return for Animated Series

Earlier this year, it became known that two distinct “Evil Dead” films were in production, one by filmmaker Sebastien Vaniere and another by Francis Galluppi. However, more adventures are planned for the franchise as star and producer Bruce Campbell confirmed that an animated series is being developed. Despite retiring from the role of Ash Williams in 2018 with the last season of “Ash vs. Evil Dead,” Campbell hinted that he may not be done voicing Ash in future projects, as the physical demands of the franchise took a toll on him but not his enthusiasm for the character.
