Tomorrow marks the start of San Diego Comic-Con, an exciting event where comic book fans, moviegoers, gamers, and television enthusiasts come together to celebrate their passions. The much-anticipated convention will be graced by some special guests, including Ashley Eckstein and Michael James Scott. Known for voicing Ahsoka Tano in various “Star Wars” animations, Eckstein is also the founder of Her Universe fashion brand. Meanwhile, Scott currently stars as the Genie in Broadway’s “Aladdin.” These longtime friends will join forces to host the 10th Annual Her Universe Fashion Show, an important milestone for the company. In preparation for this significant event at Comic-Con, ComicBook had the privilege of interviewing Eckstein and Scott about the brand’s 10-year anniversary.

Xbox Game Pass hasn’t announced its line-up for the initial two weeks of August, but we have news about a new release joining the service in the second half of the month. This upcoming game is called Core Keeper, and it will be available starting August 27th on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Unfortunately, Xbox One users will miss out on this one. Developed by Fireshine Games, Core Keeper initially launched in early access on PC in 2022 and has received an impressive “very positive” rating on Steam since then. Next month marks the debut of Ghost Machine’s first collectible item, which comic congoers at San Diego Comic Con can check out in person. At Ghost Machine’s SDCC booth, Mezco Toys and Ghost Machine have collaborated to introduce an action figure embodying Junkyard Joe, a character from Geoff Johns and Gary Frank’s comics. With a 1:12 scale, this figurine reflects the essence of classic war comics while adding a unique touch from Ghost Machine.

Recently, they unveiled Update 1.49, a more significant update compared to recent ones. This latest release brings several new vehicles into the game and undergoes a comprehensive revision of the physics simulation, resulting in slight alterations to how cars maneuver.
