It appears that the circular pattern of life, often associated with nature, also seems applicable to the realm of entertainment. Over the past few years, streaming services have significantly disrupted traditional television, only to find themselves reinvesting in live, channel-based programming similar to cable TV. Pioneers like Pluto TV were instrumental in this shift, and now many paid streaming platforms are following suit. This includes Disney+, which recently announced and launched its own channels over the summer.

Deadpool & Wolverine has easily become one of the year’s biggest blockbusters, delivering a take on the Marvel movie multiverse that fans truly had to see to believe. In addition to the Internet-breaking cameos from Channing Tatum’s Gambit, Wesley Snipes’ Blade, and Jennifer Garner’s Elektra, Deadpool & Wolverine featured a number of variants of supporting characters from the previous X-Men films. As a new piece of concept art from David Masson San Gabriel reveals, that almost included a gender-bent version of an infamous X-Men villain. The concept art, which you can check out below, presents a female version of Cain Marko / Juggernaut, emulated around the costume that Vinnie Jones wore in 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand. While a version of Juggernaut ultimately did make it into Deadpool & Wolverine, he was a male variant of the character played by Aaron W. Reed.

Tonight, as a gamer, I was hyped to witness the crossover between TNA Impact and NXT during the Knockouts Championship Open Challenge. But the excitement didn’t stop there! Earlier in the show, TNA dropped a video hinting at the imminent debut of a former WWE Superstar – none other than Xia Li. After her release earlier this year, fans like me have been eagerly speculating about where she might resurface. Now, it appears that destination is TNA, and the video leaves no doubt that her debut is just around the corner. With Victory Road approaching, maybe her new chapter will start there, but for now, we can only wait and watch!

The upcoming thriller titled “Caddo Lake,” produced by M. Night Shyamalan, is set to debut on streaming platform Max. On this Thursday, Max has officially announced its release date, which is October 10th. Starring Dylan O’Brien, Eliza Scanlen, Diana Hopper, Caroline Falk, Sam Hennings, Eric Lange, and Lauren Ambrose, the film teaser hints at secrets being unveiled following a tragic event. Tonight on Impact, TNA’s Knockouts Champion issued an open challenge, which brought a crossover between TNA and WWE NXT. Stepping up to answer was Arianna Grace, but instead of facing Grace herself, she presented Karmen Petrovic as the challenger. Despite a strong effort from Petrovic, Grace proved too formidable for the rising NXT star, keeping her Knockouts Championship. Afterward, as the lights went out, a pillow next to Grace hinted that Wendy Choo, a rather intimidating figure in NXT, will be her opponent on the following week’s show.

The Tokyo Game Show is approaching soon, and we’re expecting a strong showing from PlayStation, as they’ve confirmed the return of next year’s “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach”. However, we wonder about Xbox’s participation this year, as Microsoft’s gaming platform typically makes a significant impact at TGS annually, and it seems that tradition will continue in 20XX.
