Instead, one enthusiast has gathered some top-tier Heart of Chornobyl mods into a single fantastic collection called Rusted Dawn. Marketed as a “Modular Mod Collection”, this impressive compilation empowers you with control over the game’s post-apocalyptic open world.

Users will notice this as “update 1.5.2” for the action game, and it primarily includes a few adjustments, but it’s crucial to note that it may significantly impact game performance for individuals who have installed mods.

Thanks to the efforts of modder KynesPeaceZunaSW, Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl now boasts a comprehensive crafting system available throughout the game’s open world. This new feature is intended to intensify the sense of isolation and reduce your dependence on traders. The “Craftable Zone” mod enables players to manufacture and enhance various items as they traverse the Zone.

In 2012, the announcement of “STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl” followed swiftly on the heels of their initial success. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as expected and the game embarked on a rather intriguing path, starting with delays in development, then surviving through a real-world conflict, and finally switching engines for its production. After multiple setbacks, it was finally released in November 2020.

To make sure his soldiers, who seemed to be transforming into zombies, could take their turn, the Colonel was tricked into checking on them by the first-person perspective of the player. Although it would have been advantageous to display some gameplay earlier, this creative approach is commendable. As per the trailer, Stalker 2 is slated for a PlayStation release in late 2025.

The PlayStation 5 edition optimizes the use of DualSense controller capabilities such as haptic feedback and adjustable triggers, enhancing players’ immersion, while also catering to additional technological advancements tailored specifically for the PlayStation 5 Pro model.
