In October 2022, Travis J. Lewton took the life of his 71-year-old mother by strangling her upon her return home from work in Toledo, Ohio.

STALKER 2 is the fourth installment in this series, coming after the original trilogy that was released between 2007 and 2009. The game has had a challenging production history, heavily impacted by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, where GSC Game World is situated. However, despite these difficulties, it quickly gained immense popularity, selling over a million copies within its first two days. In addition to being financially successful, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl received positive feedback, with critics appreciating its engrossing, seamless open world, but expressing concerns about balance issues and glitches.

The behavioral system for non-player characters in Stalker 2, referred to as A-Life by GSC Game World, has sparked debate due to various problems that surfaced after the game’s release. Since then, multiple updates have been made with the aim of resolving some of its most significant challenges.

On Discord, the team shared that they plan to divide their roadmap into four quarterly segments. Every three months, you can expect a comprehensive update about upcoming features. The patch notes will indicate when these updates go live within the game.

The premiere of The Last of Us’ second season unveils a more intelligent form of the contaminated creatures referred to as stalkers. Previous seasons have already presented numerous fear-inducing types of infected beings, such as runners, which are essentially standard zombies; clickers, who have been affected for so long they’ve developed a tough protective layer; and bloaters, reminiscent of the Incredible Hulk in terms of the Cordyceps fungus. However, the series continues to keep viewers on edge with additional types of infected entities. In the first episode of The Last of Us season 2 titled “Future Days,” Ellie encounters yet another mutated variant of the contaminated population.
