As I eagerly gazed upon the tantalizing screenshot unveiled in December 2024 of the upcoming game, I couldn’t help but notice those familiar PlayStation button prompts. Yet, when I probed Gematsu about this intriguing detail, a Falcom representative revealed that the screenshot was actually captured during the late stages of development in 2024, a time when the platform for the game had yet to be finalized.
On November 15, 2022, the PlayStation 5 version of “Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA” was initially launched in North America by NIS America. A few days later, on November 18, 2022, it also made its debut in Europe. Subsequently, “Ys IX: Monstrum Nox” followed suit, released in North America on May 9, 2023, and in Europe on May 12, 2023.
On December 15, 2023, the game titled METRO QUESTER was introduced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Microsoft Store and GOG. The initial PC version, named “QUESTER: A tale uncovering the truth of the forgotten world“, can be accessed on Steam.
The sequel to “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles” is set to be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on August 1 in Japan and August 5 worldwide.
